Ferries from Dublin
Combining a flight and ferry? Build in enough time between Dublin Airport and Dublin Port, then check the current sailing rather than relying on a static timetable.
Dublin Airport to Dublin Port
Dublin Port is on the east side of the city rather than at the airport. If you are combining a flight with a ferry, allow time for baggage collection, the cross-city/Port Tunnel transfer, traffic and the ferry operator’s check-in deadline.
Holyhead, Cherbourg and the Isle of Man
Dublin Port’s current tourist information lists passenger ferry services to Holyhead in Wales, cruise-ferry services to Cherbourg in France, and Isle of Man Steam Packet connections between Dublin and the Isle of Man. Sailing frequencies and vessels change by season, so use live ferry information for the date you travel.

Check Dublin ferry availabilityShould you stay overnight?
If a flight arrives too close to ferry check-in, an airport or city overnight is safer than building an itinerary around a tight same-day connection. Weather and airline disruption can remove an apparently comfortable margin quickly.
Dublin Port currently identifies Holyhead, Cherbourg and Isle of Man passenger connections. Timetables are intentionally not copied into this static guide.
